Questions with Topic Quick Fields

asked on December 13, 2013

The document classification is set up in Quick Fields. The processing waited for couple of minutes. After that the words "Failed to recognize" is showing in red in the output pane. Waited for couple of minutes, another line "Failed to recognize" is showing.

Processing is not proceeding. Anyone an idea?

Thanks Martin (from MBS), actually you are completely right. set them (all OCR) from accuracy to speed and the page in question is no longer an issue. The message "Failed to recognize is no longer appearing.

The Processing Information Pane has a column for the process name, so you should be able to see which process that error is coming from.

Please have your reseller open a case with Tech Support and attach the session and sample images. Like Kenneth says, you're not giving enough information to troubleshoot. Presales is there as a resource for configuration questions for resellers, not end users and not for troubleshooting.

There does not seem to be much indication as to what is happening.

Is this happening for a particular activity? Is this happening when trying to use a particular scan source?

If this is happening from a Scan Source loading documents, it may be that Quick Fields is unable to open the documents from that source.

If this is happening during an activity (such as ZoneOCR), then this may indicate that you need to re-evaluate your identifiers as the activity is not working properly and Quick Fields is not recognizing any documents.

If you would like more help, please contact presales regarding this issue, or provide more information/screenshots so that we can better address your question.
