How to export from Laserfiche Plus 4

Hello,

I have an LF Plus v4 CD and would like to export the documents or upgrade it to LF 9. At the moment, I can view the content through the LF client on the LF Plus disk.

So far I have tried, without success:

LF 5 Volume Converter (the btrieve files couldn't be read)
Attaching to an LF 7 repository

Has anyone got any experience with this? Perhaps LF 5 has something useful on it but I'm unable to download that version.

Does briefcase export work? If you can export a briefcase, then a newer version of the client should be able to import it, although this is somewhat hit or miss. You could also contact LF professional services to work on moving the data over.

Michael,

There is a very simple answer to your question: Sometimes I can miss the obvious. :-/

I didn't see the "Briefcase" button, there were no right-click options and I just didn't think to go looking through the menu options.

Thanks for you help. The briefcase imported into an LF9.x repository without any drama.
