Metadata Templates in LFScan not working

I found a great article in the old forum.  It supported our inklings and readily gave us cause to further test and set a plan to resolve our issue.  I was so pleased that I wrote a thank you comment to the post.

After getting your email about the new forum, I thought I'd test the same.  The article did not come up nor anything useful relating to the key words I input.

 

Just wanting to give you this feedback as I was so pleased with the experience I had and hope to have the same or similar in the new forum.  j

 

Will you be having a webinar to review best use of the new forum?

Hello Cari,

 

If I understand your post correctly, you're saying that searching for "Metadata Templates in LFScan not working" in Laserfiche Answers does not return this forum post.

 

At this time, search queries in Laserfiche Answers only returns content within Laserfiche Answers. If you wish to search for content in the old forums, please continue to use the support site search. Incidentally, the support site search will return results from both the old forums and from Laserfiche Answers.

 

There are plans to provide a federated search in Answers that will return results from the support site and corporate site. When this feature is available, you'll be able to return all Laserfiche content with search queries in Laserfiche Answers.

Thank you for your feedback. Currently the search in Answers only returns data from Answers. The search feature on the support site returns hits on both Answers and the old forums. We're still working out the best way to present search hits here.
