Administrative Privileges for WF

Dears,

 

What administrative privileges should be granted to the authentication user of the attached file.

The user needs the Manage Trustees privilege in order to configure the WFUser$ account that will be used by the Subscriber to connect to the repository. As the dialog says, this is a one-time connection, the information is not saved or reused. So using Admin is the easiest way to get through that step.

Yep, what Miruna said. I had no idea about the minimum rights but Admin is easiest. The other approach is to create a user called something "wfadmin" with full admin rights. The user won't need a license and can be used to the workflow rules of "user is not wfadmin" when creating your starting rules. So, win-win. Also, it means when you review your audit log, there is a clear distinction between general use of the admin account (often associated with the Laserfiche Server service account) and Workflow tasks.
