Opening Laserfiche from the command line

When opening LF from the command line (8.3.2) and running a search is it possible for it to re-use an existing LF instance rather than open a new one each time?

You can do this in the 8.3.2 client with the ImageEnable API, which is part of the SDK. Look for "IsLaserficheLoaded" in the SDK documentation. In the 9.0 client, there is a new API called Client Automation Tools which allows much more control over launching the client.
