Dear LF Team

I am facing some issue with Arabic OCR document when I try to Export and open with acrobat reader or professional I am not able to find any Text..

i done following steps.

1. scan Arabic document in Laserfiche

2. Export the scanned document to PDF/A-1b format.

3.Open the Exported PDF to Arabic OCR software .

4.Extract all Arabic text page by page

5.copy the extracted text page by page and pasted to Laserfiche Scan Image.

6.Export the same image again in PDF/A-1b format.

7.open exported PDF/A file with Acrobat but when we try to search some Arabic/English text not able to find the Text but when we search in Laserfiche Arabic/English it is working fine.

Laserfiche does not have built-in Arabic OCR or the ability to export to PDF/A. You should talk to your reseller about these issues.

Laserfiche does have the ability to export PDF/A, just not import.

Are your steps used to provide text inside the images? Laserfiche's searchable text is like having a separate document of just the pure text, it would not be putting text onto the images you have scanned in. That is why you can search for the text but not highlight it in adobe. Not sure if that 3rd party software and using Laserfiche Scan Image is to get that type of functionality or not.

If you want highlight-able text on the PDF of scanned images, you will need a tool that will make that PDF have highlight-able text(giving the PDF a text stream) and then bring it into Laserfiche.
