I have many customers who would like to designate an email address (invoices@company.com) that would automatically import into a user/group workflow.

Can this be done yet?

Thank you

Yes, see Email Archiving functionality in Import Agent.

There are a number of third party options... The problem is the customer knowing what they want:

  • Server side rules to attempt to import the right emails
  • Server side product to import everything
  • Client side product to rely on staff to create auto-import rules

And then there's the question of handling duplicates (especially on the server side products) - do you just accept there will be duplicates or do you create a funky/smart Workflow to manage duplicate emails.

Hope that helps!
