Laserfiche doesn't use any Java, but applications that are written in Java can integrate with Laserfiche by using the JRepositoryAccess library that ships with the Laserfiche SDK. This library provides access to a Laserfiche repository and is written in pure Java and is safe to use from a servlet or any J2EE application server.
