Workflow Emails question

asked on May 7, 2013 Show version history

I’ve had a request from a user that I think I know the answer to, but wanted to ask just in case it can be done.  She wants to list several tokens within the email, but only if they are true.  For a single a token, one could just use a routing decision and send one email with the token if it is true, and one without if it is not true, but for multiple tokens, don’t see how this can be done.

She’d also like to be able to bold, change font, color, etc.  Again, don’t see any obvious way of doing this.

Thanks,

Hi there,

To do this for multiple tokens, you can have Workflow append the True token information to a different Multi-Valued Token. This can be done with the Conditional Sequence activity. Then, all you would have to do is reference that Multi-Valued Token in your e-mail.

Furthermore, you can customize the e-mails that Workflow sends out by styling them with HTML.This Solution Exchange article shows all the steps necessary in doing something like this.

Hello,

Is there any plan to enhance the email editor's option to reduce the need to use HTML to change police, color, etc. ?

Thanks

Veronique

There are currently no plans to add an HTML editor to the Email activity.
