Annotation security is set at the document or folder level through Entry Access Rights. All the annotations will be treated the same by security within a document, unless a user has specifically altered the Annotation Metadata properties. This can be done by right clicking on an annotation, selecting ‘Properties…’ and clicking the Metadata tab. Here users can further set who can view and modify the specific annotation.
