Distributed Processing Availability

Good Afternoon,

 

I had a client who wanted to try the Distributed Processes beta.  He attempted to download it from the support site but received an access denied message.  I was able to download it without any issues.  Is this a beta that is only available to VARS?  Or should all users of Laserfiche be able to download it?

End users should be able to download the Distributed Processing beta.  If they are receiving an “access denied” message, this would be due to one of two things:

 

1) Expired LSAP

2) They don’t have the “Product Download” role on the Support Site

If they do have current LSAP, you can go to the “My Profile” section of the Support Site and select “Grant Roles”.  This will allow you to search for the company and end user in question.  If they do have the “Product Download” role, let me know and I’ll continue digging to see if there are any other possible solutions.
