LF Forms - Dashboard

I recently watched a LF demo video (from Laserfiche) where you had shown a dashboard for LF Forms, which allowed process information to be displayed in charts, reports, etc… I just can’t seem to find how to navigate to or enact this portion of the project. Could you kindly point me in the right direction?

The Forms dashboard view shown in the demo you’re talking about was built out using SQL Server Reporting Services, a Microsoft tool. The information is all kept in the Forms database; for now, the best way to show an aggregate view like we do in the demo is to use the data in the database to generate a report. There are several products that can do this, such as SQL Server Reporting Services and Crystal Reports.

Is there documentation on the database design so we can more easily create these reports?

I am trying to use SQL reporting service, and fail to connect. what is the proper Connection string to use to connect to the form database and collect the information

That would depend on your SQL security. See SQL Reporting Services documentation for more info as this is not a Laserfiche feature.

yes find it, I test it with an sqlexpress and forget to put the instance. but now the connection and services is running. thanks. only thing I cannot find is the relation between table to get a report for a perticular forms process

Where can we find the relation between the table to build the Query to get information like the forms report grab from the database and create report with SQL report services

Hello,

Is there any update on the dashboard?, we have a client who wants the results of the reports in a dashboard showing the tasks, task assign and things like that. We are trying to create a Report Service to do that, if we need add tables or things like that, can add in the DB formas?, like can we use cdc - change data capture in the forms DB?

Forms 10.1 include performance dashboard and operational dashboard which can show the metrics for instances started or finished and tasks started or finished and detail information on user task distribution.
