Is there any change to backup procedures that need to be followed with the addition of FORMS?   The possibility of a FORM being submitted during a backup cycle begs the question  what happens to that FORM if the Repository is offline when the user hits submit especially if the FORM is set to store in the Repository .  Will they lose their submittal?

In Forms 9.0.1, if the repository is offline when saving to Laserfiche, the document will be generated in a temp folder on the server machine. You can manually import the file to the repository later, but note that the metadata will be missing. All the data submitted to Forms server will still be available.

I think the safest thing to do during the backup process would be to hide (unpublish) all the published forms so that they are not accessible. The only concern would be those users who are in the middle of filling out a form, and you can wait 5-10 minutes after hiding the forms to account for those. And then you can start the repository backup.
