Question

LF IOS App and E-mail

asked on April 18, 2013 Show version history

Hi Guys,

How do you forward a document to email from the IOS app either iPad / IPhone?

When you send via email it only sends the link to the document in the repository.

Currently, there is no way to export TIF images directly out of the iOS app and attach them to an email. You can only send links to the document or print its pages with an Air Printer. If you have a specific use case for the feature, we can add it to our list for a future release.

Hi Guys,

Can this feature be added if possible? my clients are advising me that when they are on the app looking for files, they would like to have the option to email that file to their clients. Currently it is a link which means if the user is outside of the client environment they will need to access it using a full username and password?

Please advise,

Ziad
