Question

Workflow - Fill Out PDF Form withe Multi Value Tokens

asked on April 18, 2013 Show version history

Hi Team,

I have been a bit stuck with this one for the last couple of days, so I hope you can see what I am doing incorrect.

I basically am creating a report using Workflow (V9) which will also link into other Workflow eventually. The issue I am currently having is there can be numerous records that I would like to input into a PDF Form (like a table).

Single records I can get working no problem. But I am trying to use the Table tab (in the Fill out PDF form) with Pattern Matching for the fields on the PDF from.

The MySQL database I am querying will look something like this, which is the reult I am trying to replicate:

The result of the PDF is shown below. This particular example should have 3 different Contract (numbers). Also the Balance & Payout values are blank?

Thanks again

Hi there,

After doing some research, I found out that the reason you’re having this issue is because the Query Data tokens are not explicitly multi-value. So they only take one of the rows as their value, put that into the PDF, and then the workflow ends.

You can change your Workflow like this, and it should work after that:

Description: cid:image001.png@01CE3C4F.CA4EAE00

Let us know if you have any other questions!
