I have a couple questions I'm hoping you'll be able to answer which I haven't been able to for one of our LF customers.
1. In relation to the EDM304 ppt on your support site (a presentation given at the 2013 conference), what is the method for index optimization mentioned on page 7? Is this automatically handled by the LFFTS? Is this exclusive to LF 9? The text isn't clear.
2. Import Agent is currently being used to import documents with corresponding XML files at the client site. We are exploring the ability to import values into a multi-value field in LF. What format would we use in the XML to address a multi-value field?
Thank you!

The indexing methods discussed on page 7 are handled automatically. They’re not exclusive to Laserfiche 9 either; that’s just how Laserfiche indexing works. The idea behind that slide was just to communicate that the same ideas behind indexing can be applied to search engine optimization as well.
As for populating multi-value fields via XML, I’m attaching a sample file that demonstrates exactly how to work with a multi-value field. Hope this helps!
