We would like to seek your confirmation regarding Laserfiche Forms 11 and our Disaster Recovery (DR) setup.

Currently, our DR environment is active, and reverse SQL Server log shipping from DR to Head Office (HO) is configured at 15-minute intervals. We are planning to fail back to HO.

Before proceeding, we would appreciate your clarification on the following points:

  1. Database storage: Are all Laserfiche Forms process definitions, form designs, and process configuration changes stored in the Forms database, or are certain components stored separately on the application server or filesystem?

  2. Process deployment and modifications: If we deploy a new process or modify an existing process while DR is active, will these changes be available automatically at HO once the corresponding SQL transaction logs have been successfully restored?

  3. Additional synchronization requirements: Are there any Laserfiche components, configuration files, custom CSS/JavaScript assets, or other dependencies that must be synchronized separately between DR and HO?

  4. Failback best practices: What checks and recommended procedures should we follow to ensure that all Laserfiche Forms processes and configurations are consistent before switching production back to HO?

  5. Documents

We would like to ensure that any changes made in DR during the recovery period are retained and fully available after failback, without requiring unnecessary manual redeployment.

Your confirmation and recommended best practices would be appreciated.
