Migration Tool Updates:  

Now you can evaluate repositories in addition to Workflows and Forms, and get key insights into database size and volume, recycle bin contents, file and page counts, entry statistics, and user activity. Get clear, actionable definitions on items needed for review, including storage and account details. The tool has now been moved to the Laserfiche 12 Installer.  

In addition, the Repository Export Client tool now has better user management with bulk mapping of users when migrating from Self-Hosted to Cloud. In addition, this update also makes it easier to do backup and validation with your data on remote servers and in other locations when migrating.

Updated Software Development Kit (SDK):  

SDK 12 includes updated versions of the Repository Access library and other supporting integration libraries, delivers updated interfaces and enhances security when building custom application connections to Laserfiche. The latest SDK is now available through NuGet, and documentation is now available on the developer portal. 

We recommend you use the Laserfiche API or latest version of the SDK, as Laserfiche Cloud will end support for custom applications made with older versions of the Laserfiche SDK on July 8, 2027. Applications built using SDK 12 or the Laserfiche API will not be affected.
