I have documents that include a date on them when they are printed. The software they come from prints the date formatted based on the user that printed it. So, if the user is French Canadian it prints the date dd/mm/yy, but if the user is English, it prints the date mm/dd/yy. In Laserfiche the Date field is mm/dd/yy that we need it to populate. We were thinking we could have Smart Fields look at the date and format it based on what matched closest to today's date but then realized "today" would probably be relevant to the server that is being used for Smart Fields. There are situations where that logic would get a little messy as well.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how this could be done, short of updating the software?
