We have a situation where a RIO system is running in Azure, using Virtual Desktops (VDM). With the Version 12 Windows client, we are experiencing odd display behavior.

While navigating Laserfiche with the Windows Client with multiple columns showing, when the screen refreshes there is a chance that all columns except the Name will disappear. When this happens, the active column list in the user’s profile is replaced with the single column. Saved column sets are not affected and can be restored.

We have ruled out per-folder column settings. Only one of the affected users had this feature enabled, and the issue persisted for that user after turning it off.

Workarounds and workaround issues include:

• Building the desired column set and save it, knowing we might have to re-load the saved columns at any time,
• Disabling automatic refresh to reduce its opportunities to happen - but, the client will often refresh on it's own for various reasons.
• Switching to the web client - with users reporting that the web client is less user friendly.

We are going to turn on tracing for a few clients, and probably open a support case.  Has anyone else come across this behavior?
