Question

Photos vs. Scans - Is there a difference?

asked on September 10

Hi! While checking old minutes in LF, I found that some are a little blurry. (See attached example) I have the originals, but they are bound in a book. Using the copying machine damages the spine and the copies look terrible. I have a portable document camera, but no other equipment. Is it worth the time and effort to capture each page individually, and does it matter that they would technically be photos and not scans?

I appreciate any help more experienced LFers can offer. Thanks!

I think it should be fine as long as your digital camera produces an image file such as a .jpg, png., .tif, .bmp - I think you can upload any of those file types to LF?
