Question

Laserfiche Icon in Windows Explorer

asked on July 24

Hi All,

With the latest iteration of Laserfiche 12, I see that there is now a Laserfiche icon inside my computer/windows explorer.

I can see that any office documents I open from Laserfiche locally appear in here, but I'm also able to drag documents into this folder. Dragging document into this folder doesn't seem to do anything.

I can't find any documentation around this or what it's actually supposed to do.

What is supposed to happen when I drag a document into this folder in windows explorer?

Cheers!

Chris

It will show documents you've checked out through the Laserfiche Office integration. At this time, dragging documents into it will not import them into Laserfiche.

How do we turn it off and keep the office integration?

You cannot. It is part of the Office Integration.
