Question

Older form not loading correctly for some users

asked on July 16

We have an older form that was created using the classic form designer that won't load properly for some users. Prior to this morning, the form loaded as the image on the right (below), and beginning this morning it loads as the left.

These users are using Chrome. We have cleared their browser cache, launched incognito, tried using Firefox and Edge, and rebooted their computers. All of these had the same result as the image on the left.

We haven't made any changes on this form in over a year and can't think of anything else that has changed since yesterday, except perhaps windows updates.

If you have encountered this, please let me know how you were able to resolve it. Thank you in advance!

Hi Sarah,

Can you tell while loading the form, are there any js error in the devtools-> Console tab? And what is the Forms version you are using? Can you export the business process for a look?

Hello and thank you for your response! We are on version 12.0.2509.20409 of LF Forms.

We believe we found the problem late yesterday and it is network related. We had a cluster of users where the form would not load properly yesterday morning. Most of our links use the server alias in the URL; the form loaded properly for these users after we provided them a link using the fully qualified server name. So we have turned this issue over to our network team.

Thanks again!
