Changing Layout for Checkbox Field to more than 4 columns

asked on July 8

Is there a way to change the layout in a checkbox field to more than 4 columns?  I'd rather use the checkbox field than a table with 5 columns but cannot locate the necessary CSS or JS to do this.  I'm using self-hosted modern design in version 12.

Just swap the ID with the ID of your Checkbox field:

/* Replace q6 with your field's ID, and 20% with 100/(desired columns) */
#q6 .option {
  flex: 0 0 20% !important;   /* e.g. 20% = 5 columns, 16.66% = 6 columns, 25% = 4 columns */
  max-width: 20% !important;
  box-sizing: border-box !important;
}

This is what I have and it still doesn't work.

#q26 .option {
  flex: 0 0 20% !important;   /* e.g. 20% = 5 columns, 16.66% = 6 columns, 25% = 4 columns */
  max-width: 20% !important;
  box-sizing: border-box !important;
}
