Hello Everyone,

Please I need help on this one.

i have a parallel gateway that splits a task between two approvers. Either of the two can approve. Once one approves, then the process flows to the next step and the other task is closed to the other person is closed. How can i configure this scenario on the process canvas in Laserfiche Cloud.

Attached is my current set u and the process keeps terminating once one person approves.

Please help possibly with process flow map.

You can use a Signal Throw even to stop the other task. Design would look like this.
The Signal Catch on the Task is set to Interrupt. Who ever finishes their task first will hit their signal throw which would be caught by the remaining running tasks. Although their are 2 throws and 2 catches, you only need to create 1 signal.

Hello Steve,

I tried the following using 1 signal event and got the following error:
Routing cannot be split to any subsequent branch. XPath evaluation may fail for every possible condition. [LFF5408-RoutingConditionMayFail]

Below is the process map I set up.

Am i doing something wrong?

Finally got it to work using your exact process map.

It didn't work with a single signal however. May be i didnt do it right though.

any other ideas out there. I love these creative solutions!!!

This is just me, but i would put an email after the interruption to notify the other person that this task has been completed. When there are multiple staff (Teams) I often get a helpdesk ticket stating he/she can not get into a task. Well come to find out that one of member from that team group already completed the task. And I have to explain what happens when a member is assigned to a team group

1. how to use just one signal or map it on the canvas

2. Can you help give details on how to configure the signal and the catch event
