Field Rules in multiple forms of a process

asked on June 16

I am working with multiple forms for a few of the processes we run.  I was curious if there was a way to copy existing field rules to a form that already exists?

Or i would like to request the ability to set field rules for all forms in a particular process.  Like a check box after the field rule that might apply it to all forms in the process.  This would stop me from having to update each form with 40 different rules to make them match.

Any way of doing this / Ask for it to be possible?

It might be easier to use the forms designer and build one form for the process and use the field rules to show/hide when appropriate.  I know it's probably not appropriate now that your process already has multiple forms, but it's something to keep in mind for future projects.

I have some very complex processes in LF 12 that only use 1 form and the field rules are quite adaptable.

Unfortunately this includes a few different departments working with the documents at the same time and they are then combined after so it requires different forms.  And the forms have been edited over the year or two.

Great suggestion and i plan on using that for an upcoming form to hide things are earlier stages.  Much appreciated.
