I was trying out the auto select template and field extraction, but I don't think the automatically select template option is working or it's not working as I'd expect it to when importing a document.

I've been testing with an I-9 that has just my name in the fillable fields.

After selecting Automatically select template and importing the document, it doesn't set the template I'm expecting, or any template for that matter.

I can confirm that my prompts are working since I'm able to click "automatically select template and extract values" after the document is in the system.
