Hi LF devs,

Domain-locked licenses don't seem to store the the host-id (though some information is encrypted) and when I tested with just "00-00-00-00" the license worked. 

Given a host-id is recommended by the documentation, is it just because using the real MAC address is the easiest way to ensure unique host-IDs are stored in the internal database for LFDS? 

Neither I nor my customers are having any issues but this came up in a training session and I'd like to have a definitive answer for them :)
