I am currently working on a multi step approval process.

The form will be filled out by the user and will be submitted to the 1st Manager for approval. Once approved, the form will then be sent to the 2nd Manager for approval. There are a total of 3 approvers. The CEO will approved lastly.

By the time the form reaches the CEO, i want to put in fields where it will show when did the 1st and 2nd Manager approved the form.

At the moment, I have tried putting in a date field and configure it to current date but the date and time captures only the first time the form was submitted by the initiator.

Don't show the field (ignoring values) you want to capture the date in until it reaches the task you want to capture it for. Otherwise it will populate when the initial submission is made.

Why replace what is already done for you in the action pane on the right though?
