I'm using Laserfiche Workflow Cloud and I'm trying to find a way to completely reset the security on a document before assigning new rights.

My goal is:

1. Remove all existing rights from a document.
2. Assign a new set of rights to the users/groups that should have access.

The challenge I'm running into is that the Assign Rights action requires me to specify the usernames or groups whose rights should be removed. However, I don't know of a way within Workflow Cloud to first retrieve all users/groups that currently have rights assigned to a document.

In older discussions, I've seen solutions involving scripts, but those appeared to be for self-hosted/on-premises environments rather than Laserfiche Cloud.

Is there a way in Laserfiche Cloud Workflow to:

• Retrieve all current security assignments on a document?
• Remove all rights from a document without knowing the existing users/groups beforehand?
• Otherwise reset document security and then apply a fresh set of permissions?
