I have been testing Smart Fields on some invoices. I have noticed an issue that happens occasionally with the Invoice Date. The field itself is setup as Type: Date and the Format is set to Short Date. But when Smart Fields runs it occasionally populates it like this:

As you can see it is adding the time at the end. It is also formatting the date incorrectly. It should be Month/Day/Year. When I click into the field it reformats and shows correctly:
