Action needed: Review SAML Token Encryption Settings by July 31, 2026

posted on May 6

The certificate used by Laserfiche Cloud for encrypting SAML tokens for single sign-on identity providers will expire on July 31, 2026. Laserfiche has deployed an updated certificate available now.

We are requesting that you review your SAML identity provider configuration and, if you are using the optional token encryption feature, update your settings to use the new certificate before the end of July. If you are not using this optional feature, not changes are necessary.

More information can be found in KB1014532.

@████████ The KB article indicates

The certificate expires every 2 years. The next update will be before July 31, 2028.

however the certificate available for download from the Cloud Admin page currently shows an expiry date of 2027-08-01.

Doh! This is what I get for taking people's word for it and not verifying myself. frown

Thanks for pointing it out. I'll get the KB updated. We'll also look into adding the date in the UI to make it easier for admins to plan these changes.
