LF 12 Smart Field Extractions

At Empower, it was brought up in a few of my classes that a manual Smart Fields extraction will no longer count against Usage. I tested this and our usage count is still going up. Is this for Cloud only or does this apply to LF 12 as well?

Are there plans to make the change for self-hosted systems as well? If not, can you tell us why?

With the current infrastructure for self-hosted smart fields, it is currently not possible to distinguish between user-driven smart field extractions and automated extractions.

We currently do not have any plans to change that.
