Does anyone have any guidance or has experienced problems with emailing to various shared email addresses or distribution groups?  

I have some of each that can receive emails just fine and others which cannot.  My IT department has looked at each of the ones that fail and said that they are full access with the ability to receive messages both internally and externally.  They also compared settings against examples that do work and found no discrepancies.
