Before I get to my question, allow me to briefly define terms when it comes to a URL:
Let's take the URL: https://answers.laserfiche.com/topics?q=i#footer-legal for example.
URI format - [scheme] :// [authority] / [path] ? [query] # [fragment]
Scheme : Defines the 'Language' or context
Authority : Domain or Server
Path : Specific resource location
Query : Usually a list of key-values pairs ( key=value ) separated by ampersands.
Fragment : an Id or name
In the example URL :
Scheme : https - Use HTTP over TLS
Authority : answers.laserfiche.com - The domain where we are going with the link
Path : topics - Area of the answers website we are going to
Query : q=i - This fills the Search filter with the letter 'i' so only topics with an i are shown.
Fragment : footer-legal - an Id of a part of the footer on the page.
So, accessing this URL will send you to the answers site on the topics page with the search filter set to 'i' and will focus on the footer of the page.
While the [scheme] is typically used for a data protocol like HTTP or HTTPS or FTP it can also be used for something like mailto: to specify a SMTP protocol for sending an email or what's called a Deep Link for an app-specific scheme like fb:// or twitter:// or youtube:// which will direct a mobile OS to those applications.
Alright, time for the actual question:
With the Release of the IOS Laserfiche Forms app and the Android version coming later, is there a URL Scheme which could be used when creating a QR code that would tell a mobile device to open this URL in the Laserfiche Forms mobile app if it is available?
