I've been tasked with cleaning up the drafts in Forms. I cannot create a report as drafts does not appear to be a variable and when I select all drafts, downloading a report or spreadsheet doesn't appear to be an option either. Is there any way to accomplish this without having to open each individual submission?

There is a built-in feature to remove drafts from the system. If you go to Administration\Data Maintenance there is a Drafts section where you can enable options to Remove public or private drafts from the system after X number of days.

Hi Blake,
We recently discovered over 10,000 drafts in Forms. I had intended to implement that function, but I've been told to follow up by business unit. So I'm trying to download an excel spreadsheet that I can then sort by group and receive the proper approval before deleting. Unfortunately, the download option does not appear to be available in drafts. If you have any other ideas, please let me know.
Thanks,
Caroline

SELECT
fs.draft_email,
COALESCE(bp.name, 'Unknown Process') AS ProcessName,
fs.draft_name,
fs.submission_id,
DATEADD(HOUR, 0, sub.date_created) AS DraftDate,
DATEDIFF(DAY, sub.date_created, GETDATE()) AS DaysSinceCreated
FROM
[LF_Forms].[dbo].[cf_form_submissions] fs
LEFT JOIN
[LF_Forms].[dbo].[cf_submissions] sub
ON fs.submission_id = sub.submission_id
LEFT JOIN
[LF_Forms].[dbo].[cf_bp_processes] proc_link
ON fs.process_id = proc_link.process_id
LEFT JOIN
[LF_Forms].[dbo].[cf_business_processes] bp
ON proc_link.bp_id = bp.bp_id
WHERE
fs.draft_email IS NOT NULL
ORDER BY
sub.date_created DESC;
You can use this query in the forms database to get a full list.
