Cloud - Forms and Workflow - pass PDF from document merge rule back to Forms?

Hello,

I have a Forms process that kicks off a few workflows that run document merge rules to fill out PDFs. I'd like to pass these electronic files back to the Forms process if possible so they can be included in emails that get sent via this Forms process. Is there a good way to do that? If not, is the best solution probably passing an instance ID to these workflows and assigning that value to the filled PDFs so I can find them later when I want to send these emails?

I think the Find Entry workflow activity can find and generate a URL link to the electronic file you created, which you can pass back to the business process as an output parameter?

I'd be limited to using that URL for an iFrame or a hyperlink, correct?

I think that's right. In my case I made a business process form field for the URL link (you can hide it), and then used the token picker on the email notification to add that field variable to the email and then the email had a link to the document in it. In my case it was an internal email and they already had access credentials to the repository.

Ah, I see. I do need these attachments to go to people external to the organization, but that does open up the possibility of using Public Portal as these documents might be public information. Thanks for the input!
