Laserfiche Cloud DocuSign - Use document change when document is signed, to invoke workflow

asked on April 3

I’ve created a workflow intended to monitor documents when they return from DocuSign and automatically move them, but I’m having trouble getting the workflow to trigger.

I initially set up a starting rule to trigger when a document is Signed, but that didn’t work. I then configured an alternative starting rule to trigger when the document is modified by the DocuSignUser, but the workflow still does not start. Audit trail shows the document is changed by the DocuSignUser.  I also attempted to enable the workflow/business process user option, however that did not invoke the workflow either.

At this point, the workflow is not starting under any of these conditions. If anyone has experience with this integration or insight into what event or configuration is required to trigger workflows when documents return from DocuSign in Laserfiche Cloud, I’d really appreciate your guidance.

If a document is sent for signature from the repository, it will be returned as a new version of the document. The starting event should use entry change events from DocuSignUser and check that the changes contained an "electronic document changed"

If the signature is initiated from DocuSign and the signed document is archived to Laserfiche (according to the settings in the Integrations tab), the your starting event should look for entry creation.

"Document Signed" events are legacy events for Laserfiche digital signatures, which are not available in Laserfiche Cloud.

Tech Support can help you troubleshoot your conditions to determine why your rule did not work.
