Workflow Custom Activity Not Showing Global Tokens in Token Button

I'm having a strange issue with a Workflow 12 custom activity I'm working on where the Token button shows for a field, but it only has the "Token Dialog..." option

and not the "Global" option

What would cause that?

Figured it out. It was how everything was tied together with the custom user control.

How are you creating your controls?

My approach is typically to add a custom User Control and have that control inherit from the Laserfiche.UI.EditPanel.EditPanelControlBase class. That inherited class provides the necessary method overrides to allow the user control to interact with the workflow designer.

I then add native workflow controls from the Laserfiche.Workflow.Activities.Custom assembly to that user control. In particular the TextboxEditControl provides the token functionality for both the Global tokens and the Token Dialog.
