Assistance Required to Hide Fields in Document View

hello,
When opening documents, options to add or remove fields appear. I would like to hide these options as shown in the attached screenshot. Could you please advise on how to achieve this?

So basically you are trying to limit the fields available on a document or a group of documents to only the fields contained within the template - is that right?

I'm curious too if that is possible. I have always worked from the assumption it wasn't possible because although there are security settings you can put in place around templates and fields, along with various properties you can set with the templates and fields - I haven't ever found anything that would restrict the ability to add/remove fields in addition to what is in the template. I've always assumed it wasn't possible.
