I would like to get some clarification on when exactly files go to the Vault since customers are asking. Is it accurate to say that documents go into the vault as soon as they are assigned with the retention schedule and cutoff instruction and are now "under" Records Management controls, or do they only go into the vault when the documents are cutoff and made read-only for the inactive stage?

Customers just want to confirm that their documents are protected with the Vault and the protections it affords and knowing when those protections happen exactly during the RME process will go a long way for their own peace of mind and understanding the system.
