Yes, the settings for percentage and number of letters have been removed. The search engine will automatically set the percentage based on the size of the search term to allow for words with one or two characters difference. 

Stemming (which allows it to find related words, for ex, "searching" when the user types in "search") is always on. This is more likely to find results the user is looking for. 

Fuzzy searches are less efficient since they could return much larger sets of documents. We recommend leaving fuzzy searches off.
