Question

How to track who Destroyed records, not deleted?

asked on January 12

How to we obtain the data on who specifically destroyed records, we should be able to use workflow to pull the data from the document and create a log. Is it not possible to have the who destroyed a record data?

In my Audit Reports window, I added the Event Type on the left hand side "Confirm Final Disposition" it's under the Records Management Actions option, and then clicked Apply.  The results columns showed me which user confirmed the final disposition and from which source and on which date.  I can add or remove columns to the results view with the column picker on the toolbar.

I think we can do that in a Laserfiche cloud repository using the "Audit Reports" feature. We can tailor a lot of different tailor records management audit reports there.

Hello @Gary Gardiner I thought so two but I can't find what to select to create a report. I even selected everything, and the Audit Reports didn't not that I destroyed the document on a specific date. It registered no changes.

Hello Gary,

Thank you for this, I wish we could access the information outside of Audit Reports. I would like to provide who destroyed the document in a log to my clients.
