Folder Destruction

asked on January 5

Hi,

I have destroyed all files under a folder. However, the overall folder is not being destroyed? Anyone know why this could be? I've checked all sub files and they have been cutoff. Thank you!

Did you retain the metadata for the destroyed records?

Yes, we are retaining the metadata. Thank you.

In the Web Client, the 2015 folder shows destroyed but, in the desktop, the 2015 folder does not show destroyed?

I'm using Laserfiche cloud, and I'm not super familiar with the records management system, but I think the root folder remains visible for auditing purposes if metadata is being saved?

Yes, all the folders remain visible, but they have a red circle on them. All previous years have this but the 2015 folder. Thank you. Example 2014 in my screenshot.

Oh, I see. Can you use it? Can you add documents to it still?

No, it states it is cut off and has the destroy button highlighted but when I go to hit that, it does not destroy the actual folder itself.

Will it let you change the cutoff date or instructions "Uncutoff"?

No, the only button highlighted is "destroy", but it doesn't do anything once I hit it. Thank you.

Were you able to get this issue resolved? I'm also trying to learn Laserfiche Records Management, so I'm curious.
