Question

anyone tested Smart fields with Arabic document?

asked on December 8, 2025

Hello Everyone,

Kindly share your Smart Fields experience with Arabic, as I tried, and the extraction of the text is not in the arranged order. I mean, the issue is right to left. Kindly check the following image and the extracted value (as per the image, the extracted value in the field is to be "تجديد  إذن عمل - عمالة وافدة الرقم المدني: ," but the extracted value in the field is " المدني الرقم وافدة عمالة - عمل إذن تجديد"  this is wrong in arrangement order).

This has been identified as a bug.  A fix has been deployed that resolves the word ordering for RTL languages.

Smart fields should be able to read arabic just fine, you are right though there is something going on with RTL in your example. Could you please open a support case so we can investigate this better?
