New in December: More Enhancements to Smart Chat

1. Query Folders with Smart Chat

Smart Chat can now answer questions about the contents within folders. When choosing entries for your Smart Chat query, you can now select folders, and Smart Chat will include any documents or subfolders within them when generating a response.

This makes it easier to surface answers with the right context, drawing from all relevant documents even when they’re stored within different folders or nested in subfolders. Folder queries are also supported from the folder browser and search results views.

2. Copy Smart Chat Responses to Clipboard

You can now easily copy Smart Chat responses - whether that’s a snippet of code, a structured table, or the entire response - with a single click. A new copy icon in the chat interface lets you conveniently copy key sections or full responses directly to your clipboard to paste or share elsewhere.
