We just addressed a situation where an office has three FI-7460 scanners running on Windows 11. One of them began to take three to five minutes to initialize after the scanning window was opened. Basic and Standard scanning had the same issue.
Ricoh has Win 11 drivers updated as of 9/25/25, but these made no difference. However, installing their Paperstream 5.2 scanning utility, and switching from WIA to Paperstream Twain solved this rather baffling problem. Here's the link to Ricoh:
