How to Hide/Disable Password Authentication

asked on November 20, 2025 Show version history

We are rolling out SSO login via Entra for our Web applications (v12). I found the option in the LFDSSTS configuration page to hide the 'Windows Authentication' button and have done so. We eventually want to use only SSO login for gaining access to Forms and the repository.  I have been told this is done through edits to the 'login.cshtml' file on our LFDS server.

Has anyone ever done this or can provide some insight into exactly what changes need to be made?

Hiding the Laserfiche Authentication fields is configured on the STS Configuration page. If you are wanting to force SSO using your SAML provider, in the 12 Fall 2025 release you can also enable automatic login for a provider.

Thanks Blake. I have not yet updated to the Fall release yet. Our plan is to force it come January so that may give us time to get our VARs blessing on the new release.
