Question

Form archives are hard to read at common resolutions, requires full 4k to get readable text

asked two days ago

When viewing the form in a browser the text is always crisp at any resolution you set your browser window. However once archived and viewed in the web client, you must set your browser at full screen 4k to keep the text crisp.

Example of what the text looks like on the form at 1080p

What it looks like in the repository at 1080p

What it looks like in the repository at full screen 4k

I used Chrome to get these screenshots, we are archiving as a native document.

1. Cloud or self-hosted? (probably applicable to both)

2. Classic or form designer?

This was on a self-hosted system, still need to check and see if it happens in Cloud (should be the same though)

It was on the Classic Designer.

We literally just had a support case last week for the reverse, self-hosted forms were saving fine but cloud forms were getting squished and blurry.

How wide is the form you're trying to save? Are you on LF12?

The width of this form is set to 1000

Version 11.0.2307.40547

I get the same results after testing in Cloud with either the default width of 800 or 1000. The only way to get clear text is to use a 4K sized browser window.

In the web client, can you toggle the zoom to "100%" and see if you have the same blurry issue on the 1080p screen? It looks slightly blurry on my end with zoom level "fit to width"

That just seems to try to put a 4k image into a 1080 window

Ya, that was moreso to help me track down if the issue was forms saving or web client rendering. I reached out to some people and I'll see if I can find a way to fix it
