We have a metadata field that allows users to “assign” folders to themselves for work. This field is a list type.

We’ve noticed that when this field is visible in the column display, opening folders, sorting by column etc takes several minutes—or Laserfiche sometimes crashes. These folders contain around 400 entries, so they aren’t particularly large.

However, when we remove this field, the folders open instantly.

I’ve checked the field configuration in the Admin Console but haven’t found any settings that explain this behaviour.

Any ideas?
